Bangkok – The Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025, presented by Asian Business Review, honoured Asia’s most influential leaders and forward-thinking organisations in a prestigious ceremony held on 6 February at Conrad Bangkok, Thailand. The event spotlighted outstanding contributions in executive leadership, innovation, team performance, and inclusive business practices.
With the theme “Honoring Industry Disruptors,” the awards reflect the shifting dynamics of corporate leadership in the Asia-Pacific, where digital transformation, people development, and sustainability are becoming core to long-term value creation. This year’s winners represent diverse industries, from banking and telecommunications to healthcare and energy.
The Philippines’ Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) stood out with two awards for Innovator of the Year – Banking and Employee Engagement of the Year – Banking, recognising its integrated strategy of innovation, digital growth, and community engagement. In Indonesia, executives from CIMB Niaga, Pertamina EP Cepu, and Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (Mitratel) were celebrated for their strong sectoral leadership.
Also awarded were executives and teams from Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan, Nepal, Brunei, and China. Categories spanned not only executive performance but also employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and health and wellness—key pillars of today’s competitive corporate environment.
The event also acknowledged progressive institutions such as PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta for fostering a resilient digital workforce in Indonesia, and Genpact Philippines for its people-centric diversity framework. From the oil and gas sector to education and hospitality, awardees demonstrated the capacity of organisations to adapt and lead with purpose in an evolving global marketplace.
Judged by industry experts from Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and KPMG, the recognition process underscored the rising bar for leadership accountability and innovation. “The awards are not just about recognising success, but about redefining what sustainable and inclusive business looks like across Asia,” noted Wei Li Tea, Partner at KPMG.
As companies across the region navigate complex regulatory, technological, and geopolitical changes, the Asian Management Excellence Awards serves as both a platform for recognition and a call to action. It signals a collective move toward leadership that is strategic, values-driven, and rooted in real-world impact.
