TDCX CEO Laurent Junique Named Businessman of the Year at 40th Singapore Business Awards

Singapore – TDCX founder and CEO Laurent Junique has been awarded Businessman of the Year at the 40th Singapore Business Awards (SBA), a prestigious recognition organised by The Business Times in collaboration with DHL. The award recognises Mr Junique’s leadership in scaling TDCX into a global leader in digital customer experience (CX) and enterprise services.

The award ceremony was held on May 22 at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, with Transport Minister and Second Finance Minister Chee Hong Tat as guest of honour. In his acceptance, Mr Junique reflected on the company’s bold ambitions and future outlook:

“This is a moment for everyone at TDCX to celebrate our bravery in aiming for what seemed impossible… and our resilience in the face of challenges. We’re now investing in the future, expanding into areas like artificial intelligence services to double our total addressable market.”

TDCX’s growth strategy now includes evolving from pure CX services to AI-led solutions, with ambitions to grow its market reach from US$500 billion to over US$1 trillion.

  • Helen Wong, CEO of OCBC Bank – Outstanding Chief Executive of the Year
  • Irving Tan, CEO of Western Digital – Outstanding Overseas Executive of the Year
  • Aztech Global, led by Michael Mun – Enterprise Award
  • Aaron Tan, CEO of Carro – Young Business Leader of the Year

Minister Chee underscored the importance of trust, resilience, and strategic partnerships in navigating global uncertainty. He reiterated Singapore’s role as a trusted hub and emphasized continued collaboration through ASEAN trade upgrades and multilateral agreements.

The 2025 award selections were led by a 12-member judging panel chaired by Stephen Lee, former chairman of Singapore Airlines.

With four decades of recognising visionary leadership, the SBA remains a benchmark for excellence in Singapore’s business landscape. For companies across the region, this year’s winners reflect the agility, boldness, and innovation necessary to stay competitive amid global volatility.
