Kuala Lumpur, 2025 – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) has once again demonstrated its leadership in corporate governance by winning two prestigious accolades at the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) 2024. The bank was recognized as one of the Top 5 Public Listed Companies (PLC) in Indonesia and also honored as an ASEAN Asset Class PLC, underscoring BRI’s unwavering commitment to best-in-class corporate governance practices.
The awards were presented during the Corporate Governance Conference and Awards organized by the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) and the Minority Shareholders Watch Group (MSWG) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday, July 24. This year’s assessment covered 569 large-cap listed companies across the ASEAN region, applying a rigorous and standardized methodology endorsed by regional capital market regulators.
The ACGS initiative highlights transparency, accountability, and adherence to high governance standards. Companies achieving these distinctions are recognized for aligning their governance frameworks with ASEAN best practices, boosting trust among investors and stakeholders across the region.
BRI’s Director of Human Capital & Compliance, Ahmad Solichin Lutfiyanto, expressed his appreciation for the recognition, noting that it reflects BRI’s integrated and sustainable approach to governance. “BRI consistently ensures that good corporate governance is embedded across every level of the organization, from the Board of Commissioners and Directors to all BRILian employees.
