Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – NCT Alliance Bhd has been recognised for its strong community and sustainability initiatives, receiving the Company of the Year in the Property Developer award at the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2025. The award ceremony, held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, was officiated by Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad.
The award acknowledged NCT Alliance’s outstanding community spirit, particularly its integrated ESG initiatives that have been implemented across multiple states. In 2024, the Group invested over RM690,000 in corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects anchored on a clear ESG governance framework, demonstrating its long-term commitment to advancing local communities.
Datuk Sri Yap Ngan Choy, executive chairman and group managing director of NCT Alliance, said the recognition reinforces the Group’s belief in value-driven development. “This recognition is a clear reflection that our long-term investment in building communities has far-reaching impact and is aligned with progress that is grounded in responsibility, inclusivity, and value creation,” he said.
He added that NCT Alliance is guided by its 2025–2029 2/3 ESG Roadmap, which focuses on uplifting families and individuals while embedding sustainability principles into the design, development, and delivery of products. “We remain committed to ensuring that sustainability is not just a vision, but a tangible practice in everything we do,” Yap noted.
The Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards, organised by CSR Malaysia in collaboration with Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility Malaysia Welfare Society, highlight exemplary corporations and NGOs that have gone beyond business interests to actively contribute to socio-economic progress.
By aligning its operations with ESG priorities, NCT Alliance positions itself not only as a property developer but also as a long-term partner in Malaysia’s journey toward inclusive and sustainable nation building.
