Jakarta — The Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) has been awarded the title of “Most Favorite Public Institution” at the Information Transparency Award 2025, organized by Indonesia’s Central Information Commission (KIP). The award was announced during the closing ceremony of the Public Information Transparency Exhibition at Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta.

The annual award recognizes government institutions that demonstrate excellence in innovation, communication strategy, and accessibility of public information. This year, five categories were presented: Most Informative Booth, Best Information Provider, Best Communication Strategy, Most Innovative Public Institution, and Most Favorite Public Institution.

Kemenag stood out for its interactive and accessible communication approach, which successfully engaged the public and strengthened trust. Other winners in the same category included the Ministry of Communication and Digital (1st place) and the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (2nd place).

According to Rospita Vici Paulyn, Commissioner of KIP and Chair of the Jury, the award is not only about recognition but also about reinforcing collaboration and transparency across public institutions. “Openness is not just about regulation—it is a powerful way to build public trust,” she emphasized.
