Celebrating Indonesia’s growing presence in international education, eight students took home prestigious awards from the Asia World Model United Nations X in Malaysia.
The event simulated four key UN bodies, challenging students to negotiate, debate, and write policy—skills essential in today’s interconnected world.
Among hundreds of global participants, the Indonesian delegation shined, earning awards such as Best Delegate, Most Outstanding Delegate, and Verbal Commendation.
IGN President Muhammad Fahrizal said this achievement reflects the country’s investment in empowering youth and preparing them for global leadership.
He encouraged more students to take part in AWMUN and similar platforms, as such experiences build confidence, broaden perspectives, and open academic doors.
Thanks to its registration under Puspresnas, AWMUN awards are officially recognized and serve as a strong credential for higher education applications.
The delegates—ranging from elementary to high school students—demonstrated excellence far beyond their years, proving that the future of Indonesia is in good hands.
